This is a piece about letting go of the past and the changing self in each moment. Like the idea that you can’t read the same book twice. Each time you read it you will get different things out of the story, because you have changed. The story has not changed your reading of it has. Now in Wonderland Alice is trying to apply what she knew of herself in the waking world to her experiences in Wonderland. A doorway outside leads into the garden, which is like another reality. The tree grows out of the table. This is the way things are and it’s no use wishing things to be different. The knowing rabbit watches her to guide her, if only she will allow it. Things are turned on their head inside and outside, garden verses forest they all co-exist. She must embrace the reality she is in.
