Pemberton Reflections, hand-painted linocut by Shana James 30 x 42 cm unframed

This image is a montage from my mind, rather than a particular scene in Pemberton, but for me, it evokes the spirit and memory of the place. Expressing the beautiful forest, undulating farmland and trees reflected in the water. It is a peaceful place for me, walking in the landscape creates time to reflect; to calm the mind and rejuvenate the spirit. My sister lives in Pemberton and I have visited this place many times over the last decade.

Editioned to 10 hand-pulled prints which are then handpainted by the artist. Each image is different, varying in colour saturation and hue.

This linocut is printed with archival inks on 100% cotton paper and hand-painted using Art Spectrum lightfast, archival inks.
